XDR Data Retention Policy
A standard Secureworks® Taegis™ XDR subscription includes 12 months of data retention. Customers can extend retention beyond the default 12 months for an additional fee. Extended retention is available for up to 48 additional months. Existing customers can purchase extended retention with an addendum to their XDR or Secureworks® Taegis™ ManagedXDR contract. The extended retention will apply to data ingested going forward as well as any data that is less than 12 months old.
Data retention is performed only for customers with an active XDR/ManagedXDR contract. Data will be deleted from Secureworks’ data store according to the retention window designated based on the customer’s contract.
If a customer’s XDR contract expires, they will no longer have access to their data.
If a customer renews their XDR contract, but does not renew their extended retention contract, then data retention will be switched back to the standard 12 month retention and will apply to all data ingested going forward as well as data that is less than 12 months old. Data that is older than 12 months will be deleted.
