Executive Summary Dashboard: Vulnerability Variation Panel
This article provides an overview of the information displayed in the Vulnerability Variation panel.
Vulnerability Variation Panel
The Vulnerability Variation panel displays the following metrics:
-
The main metric of this panel represented by a positive or negative number is the delta in number of newly discovered vulnerabilities versus fixed vulnerabilities as detected by Secureworks® Taegis™ VDR in your organization, over the selected time frame. Vulnerabilities do not need to have been sent to a Remediation Plan to be detected as having been fixed.
-
The upper right corner of the panel shows how many vulnerabilities have been newly discovered and how many vulnerabilities have been fixed over the selected time frame.
-
The main graph visually shows the evolution over the selected time frame of the vulnerability count, with red bars on the upper portion of the graph showing the newly discovered vulnerabilities, and green bars in the lower portion of the graph showing the fixed vulnerabilities.

Vulnerability Variation Options
To customize the panel, select the menu icon in the upper left corner, and choose one of the following options:
- Select Delta Only to only see the difference between the newly discovered vulnerabilities and the fixed vulnerabilities for every individual time frame in the graph.
- Select Stacked Severities to only see the specific breakdown between severities (critical, medium, warning) for every individual time frame in the graph.
Tip
Visualizing this graph in relation to the Assets panel may help to better understand how adding or removing assets in your environment can affect the vulnerability detection.
Visualizing this graph in relation to the Health Score panel may help to better understand how newly discovered vulnerabilities affect the global Health Score.
