Secureworks utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) within the Secureworks® Taegis™ platform to assist and augment human decision-making and to enhance the evaluation of security posture and potential risks. For example, we have significantly advanced our Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities through AI, machine learning, and automation. This tangibly benefits our Secureworks® Taegis™ ManagedXDR customers by enhancing the speed and accuracy of their cybersecurity defenses. In fiscal year 2024, Secureworks leveraged AI to reduce alert noise and increase the triage productivity for SecOps analysts using our Taegis platform by over 100%, while improving notification times by 80%. We are at the forefront of continued AI advancement in support of our customers and the wider security community.
We are also committed to the adoption of AI in a way that delivers clear benefits from AI technologies within an ethical framework. We have implemented safeguards and controls to help protect data and reduce the likelihood of unintended behaviors and outcomes. We promote responsible AI use through our guiding principles of responsibility, accountability, transparency, and empowerment with the goal to build AI enhanced products and services that are transparent, fair, inclusive and secure.
