Prerequisites for Discovering Internet and Perimeter Assets ⫘
Internet-facing assets don’t need an Edge Service Virtual Machine to be discovered and scanned. Before proceeding to discovering or importing assets, ensure all connectivity requirements are in place.
Tip
216.9.204.0/22 is the public IP range for Secureworks® Taegis™ VDR that the internet scans originate from and is the IP range Edge Services connect to. Secureworks recommends that you safelist traffic to and from this subnet for your perimeter scans to ensure scan results consistency and to allow egress traffic from the ES to the specified IP range.
